Well, well, well. It’s been quite a damn while since I’ve given you a glimpse into my life. I’ll keep the update short as we’ve got serious business to attend to.
As you may have heard, I got married this summer! That officially makes me the most grown up Octavarius member. Marriage is going well. We’ve been married just over 3 months and she’s only threatened divorce twice. Better than I had hoped!
With a wedding comes lots of gifts. Useful gifts, practical gifts, and just god damned amazing gifts – aka the huge leather chair Octavarius gave me. I don’t mean to belabor the point, but this is one of the best chairs I have ever rested in.
When we have company over, they immediately sit in the chair and refuse to get out of it. I have to constantly fight off the urge to pull a Brad Pitt from 12 Monkeys on people. (Sorry I couldn’t find a video for that one.)
After the wedding came the honeymoon! We spent 3 days in Universal Studios Florida for the brand new Wizarding World of Harry Potter. If you’re a Harry Potter fan, you need to find a way down there. Absolutely amazing. I spent $30 on a wand that now sits in a box on a shelf. Look, I know it’s a piece of plastic, but I am planning on completing my GED from Hogwarts someday so I know I’ll need it.. back off.
While in Disney World, Susan and I accomplished something that no one in the history of the world has accomplished. We got Will Smith Points on the Tower of Terror:

My life started to return to normal once we got back from the trip. Wake, work, sleep, repeat.
Then things started to pick back up again. I’ve been working hard to market myself and get back into the acting scene. I re-re-re-launched my website (www.scottdanielson.com) and I’ve been cast in a new show which opens next month. Stalk – The Musical. (Website, Facebook Page). I’ll shamelessly plug that show at a later time so I’ll spare you that for the time being.
Speaking of shows – Go see Octavarius: So Nefarious. Susan and I were there opening night and we had a ball. It’s seriously the tits.
One Letter Off Wednesday has unfortunately gone into a coma. I’ve been trying to wake it up each Wednesday but my job has taken precedent of refreshing Facebook every 30 seconds. I’m going to do my best to start posting clues again each week due to the many requests I’ve been getting, but I think it’s going to be an on and off thing for the time being. At least until I can figure out how to make money off of it…
So that’s the reason for my absence from both the website and podcasts. I greatly miss shooting the shit with the group each Monday, and I hope to make my return to the land of audio as soon as I can.
I’m going to start bringing the funny again, too. I’ve got a couple ideas for posts brewing in my brain… most of them involving photographing strangers… We’ll see how that goes.
