Today, Octavarius stands up for what we believe in. And what we believe in, is the word “boner.”
“Boner” is one of, if not the, most fun word in English, and it’s about damn time “boner” is made the Oxford English Dictionary Word of the Day.
Since the Oxford English Dictionary doesn’t seem to be doing this on their own, we’ve decided to expedite the process and demand that “boner” be made Word of the Day.
But this is not a battle we can win alone. The Oxford English Dictionary, the definitive record of the English language, is the oldest and most prestigious English dictionary. We’ve recruited eleven co-sponsors to help us in this quest.
