Just about a week ago, a good half of the Octavarius members were fortunate enough to stumble upon the Victoria’s Secret fashion show featuring the Black Eyed Peas. A commercial debuted that night that had our jaws to the floor. It was for Victoria’s Secret’s Christmas merchandise and it was directed by none other than the King of Man Movies, Michael Bay, and shot by the most ridiculous Director of Photography that has ever existed, John Schwartzman. It has all of the trappings of a Michael Bay/John Schwartzman movie:
1.A shot of a character very far away, walking toward the camera but blurred as heat rises up from the road
2. The epic shot from below, framing the character with a blue sky behind them while spinning around.
3. Unnecessarily dangerous situations.
4. Nonsensical explosions and action.
