Del Close is one of the driving forces behind contemporary improvisation. A lot of what we do in Octavarius is rooted in his work. It’s fun to look back and see what Del was saying about improv 24 years ago, and see how his ideas have grown and how individuals and groups have taken them and run is really cool.
