A July Time Magazine survey crowned Jon Stewart as the “most trusted news anchor” with an overwhelming 44% of the vote. Since then, there’s been a lot of back and forth about whether this is good or possible.
I love the work the Daily Show writers and research team does. And I do trust them. But with the Daily Show being 1/2 hour of comedy 4 nights a week, there’s not a lot of time to get in everything that’s happening in the world. So on days where Comedy Central is the only place I go for news, I can’t be that well informed.
What everyone els thinks. Do you guys think it’s cool to have a comedian as the place to turn for news?
