With pitchers and catchers reporting to spring training this week, winter is coming to a close, spring is upon us, and baseball season is beginning. I’ve been 
a Cubs fan for a good portion of my life. What truly sealed the deal for me was my first visit to Wrigley Field with my mom and brother. The Cubs lost, but I was so swept up with the fun of being a Cubs fan that I decided that I would be one for life. Harry Caray leading the entire ballpark in “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” is a moment that stands out in my mind. In that song there is a lyric, “buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jacks…” It is a tradition for me and many other baseball fans to always buy Cracker Jacks at a ballgame. After I saw this video, I now know that this tradition is not shared by Harry Caray.
