Hey everyone! It’s your old pal Keith! I am off on tour again with Mission Improvable, doing short form improv across the country. It’s a fun gig, but it comes with some dietary struggles. I have decided to turn these struggles in to an opportunity.
Mostly I eat the food pictured above and fast food. Honestly, I eat almost entirely fast food, as depicted in my KFC double down review.
Maybe is sounds like a dream come true to eat nothing but fast food, but in terms of feeling healthy, it’s awful. But since it’s my only affordable option, I have decided to undergo an experiment. I am going to eat/drink every item for sale at each of the major fast food restaurants. It will probably take all year, but I figure if I never order the same thing, I should get the full experience.
So to reiterate, I will be consuming every individual lunch and dinner item and drinking every specialty drink from: Burger King, McDonalds, Wendy’s, Arby’s, White Castle, Krystal, Chick-Fil-A, Sonic (hopefully), KFC, Taco Bell (god forbid), Hardee’s (oh oh oh god) and Long John Silver’s (maybe, those are not as easy to come by). I will probably exclude most breakfast items because it’s hard to hit those hours, but if I end up at one for breakfast, I’ll fill you in. In another effort to save time, I will not order anything that I eat on a regular basis at these restaurants. If I clear a menu, I will allow myself to order an old favorite (if it’s still a favorite, who knows what new love I might find!).
I will do my best to take a picture of everything I eat and write about it. I can’t guarantee that I won’t get furious at the food and abandon this project.
You are probably worried about my health. Don’t be. I will still be eating other foods from other places while I do this, and I will still be exercising as much as I always do (very little). I just figured that since I mostly eat fast food anyway, that I might as well do something interesting while I do it.
